Free
your creativity and make time to de-stress this Spring!
“Here, on the river's verge, I could be busy for months without changing my place, simply leaning a little
more to right or left.”
-- Paul Cezanne
Lean a little more to the right-side of your brain this spring and indulge in a bit of art therapy. Treat yourself to a day in the country,
far from the hassles of daily life, and find inspiration in the beauty of nature.
My new house and studio is an ideal setting for this
as it is surrounded by lush thickets, trees, flowers, and the like.
There are two class options available:
Class held inside studio — Students will
work from large photos of nearby trees that I have taken previously.
Work directly from nature outdoors, weather
permitting — I will assist you in either place. If you choose
to be outside, please bring an outdoor stool. I have easels for
everyone unless you have an outdoor easel you would like to bring.
Also, if you plan to work outdoors, bring a camera so you have
a photo of the tree you are drawing for future reference in case
you don’t finish in the allotted time.
How many participants? Space is limited to four people so that
each student receives lots of individual attention. It would be helpful, but
not required, if you have some experience working in soft pastels.
